Logan Phillips, Esq.
Logan Phillips is a trial attorney with over a decade of courtroom experience, which includes approximately 80 jury trials and evidentiary hearings. He has also handled numerous appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Logan served as an Assistant Public Defender (APD) in Gainesville, Florida. As an APD, Logan represented several thousand clients facing criminal charges ranging from minor misdemeanors to serious felonies, some punishable by life in prison.
During law school, Logan was a Certified Legal Intern (CLI), working for the Eighth Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office representing the State of Florida in criminal court under supervision of licensed attorneys. He successfully prosecuted and won his first jury trial before his third and final year of law school.
Logan is a member of the Florida Bar Criminal Law Section Legislative Committee. He has also participated as a Guest Judge on several occasions for the University of Florida Writing in the Law Case Competition. Most recently, he has served as an Attorney Observer for the Florida election recount of 2018.
